9/12

Since the meet was cancelled, we had a workout. We had a 4mile tempo run followed by a mile at an all out effort.
The tempo run wasn't quite as easy as I would have liked it to been, but I did run 21:31(5:22 pace). Pat and Clint finished just ahead of me in 21:30.
The mile afterwards wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I ran 4:55. I was happy with it, but I think I could have ran 4:52 if I had put a little more into the last 200m, i guess it's just something I still need to mentally learn to make myself do. It was still great though because that's the first mile in an run or workout I've ran since confrence track back in may that was sub-5. Pat blazed his though, he went 4:46, so I got to do better next time.
I have been feeling a little tired on my runs, not sore, but tired. I have been getting sleep so I know it's not that. I think it's just been a fase I guess in my training, hopefully it ends soon.
